While working on the highly anticipated Clan Wars update, Supercell contacted Piñata to create a trailer based on their game assets and showing new features coming with the update.

At first, Piñata and Clash of Clans team explored styles and the look of the trailer. The style had to be true and close to the game footage, work with the cuts and show a lot of action but keep everything positive and fun!

“The Clash team from Supercell provided us with a rough animatic and assets, so it was really easy to carry our work and really focus on look and details and make everything look pretty and dandy. Our animation team had a blast adding little explosions, arrows and rocks flying etc. A really fun production and always nice to work with positive guys like the team from Supercell!”, says Mika.

Three language versions for English, Japanese and Korean markets were made.
